This evaluation of three modest-sized cash transfer projects took place at a sensitive time. False allegations had been made in the press, stakeholder relationships were a little rocky, and confidence had been shaken.
The evaluation itself was fairly straightforward, but the final workshop – for identifying and learning lessons, and rebuilding working relationships – had to be tackled with great care. The evaluation report, and the report from the workshop have both been published by IFRC, and can be found here.
