Global Learning Event: Improving preparedness for CTP

I facilitated this Global Learning Event on behalf of IFRC with the support of CaLP.  A group of experienced cash programming practitioners met in Malaysia in mid 2013 to consider ways in which agencies and the sector could be better prepared to deliver cash based programmes at scale and at speed.

To do this, the meeting included people with strong contingency planning experience, experienced cash transfer programmers, and representatives of financial service providers and donors.   From the humanitarian side, NGOs and UN were represented as well as Red Cross partners.

A participatory approach blended technical presentations, case studies and group discussions and sought to answer some key questions – presented in the report of the event, hosted on the CaLP website here.
