This was a meeting called at quite short notice for which it was felt that informed but external facilitation was required. Some 30 people attended the three day meeting at different times.
There was a long list of outputs expected from the meeting, the majority of which were achieved – though it was a bit of a dash towards the end! The main purpose was to develop the IFRC Secretariat’s surge optimisation workstream from the global tool review’s outputs matrix, developed at the last DMWG.
