This is my third guide for the Sphere people, so I must be doing something right.
This one was rather more challenging than the predecessors, as it relates to a developing area of programming in which good practice is still evolving. The steering committee were keen on an evidence-led approach, so I went back to Kathmandu on a not-very successful attempt to find additional evidence – the literature search had been inconclusive.
In the end, a slightly different approach had to be adopted. Did it work? You can decide: it has just been put out by the Sphere office for field testing here:
